5.2. Bot Installed, No Access?

If you see "Bot installed, no dashboard access" when viewing your server in the dashboard, this means the bot is in your server but you haven't been granted dashboard administrator permissions yet.

What this means: The bot is successfully installed in your Discord server, but you need to be granted dashboard access by the server owner before you can manage settings, panels, and tickets.

How to Get Dashboard Access

To gain access to the dashboard for your server, you need to ask the server owner to run the following command:

Step 1: Ask the Server Owner

Contact the owner of the Discord server and ask them to grant you dashboard access. They will need to run a command in a channel where the bot can see messages.

Step 2: Server Owner Runs Command

The server owner should run this command in a channel the bot can see:

/addadmin @YourUsername

Replace @YourUsername with your Discord username or mention.

Step 3: Refresh the Dashboard

After the server owner runs the command successfully, refresh the dashboard page. You should now have full access to manage your server's ticket system.

Important Notes

Server Owner Only: The /addadmin command can only be run by the server owner, not by administrators or moderators. This is a security feature to prevent unauthorized access.

Dashboard Admin vs Server Admin: Being a dashboard administrator gives you access to the web dashboard and bot configuration. This is separate from Discord server administrator permissions. You can be a dashboard admin without being a server admin, and vice versa.

What Dashboard Admins Can Do: Dashboard administrators can access the web dashboard to configure settings, create panels, manage staff teams, view transcripts, and access analytics (if Premium). They can see and manage all tickets and transcripts for the server.

Troubleshooting

Command Not Working?

  • Make sure the person running the command is the server owner (not just an admin)
  • Ensure the bot can see the channel where the command is being run
  • Check that the bot has the necessary permissions in the server
  • Verify the bot is online and responding to other commands

Still No Access After Command?

  • Wait a few moments and refresh the dashboard page
  • Try logging out and logging back into the dashboard
  • Make sure you're using the same Discord account that was mentioned in the command
  • Check that the command was successful (the bot should reply with a success message)
