Blacklist

3.9. Blacklist

The Blacklist prevents selected Discord users or everyone holding a selected role from creating new tickets. Existing tickets are not closed or changed when a blacklist entry is added.

User and Role Entries

User

Blocks one Discord account by user ID. Enable Discord Developer Mode, right-click the user, and choose Copy User ID to get the required 17โ€“19 digit value.

Role

Blocks every member who currently holds the selected server role. This is useful for muted, unverified, quarantined, or otherwise ineligible groups.

A member is blocked if either their user account or any of their roles has an active entry. Removing one entry does not bypass another entry that still matches them.

Adding an Entry

  1. Open Blacklist under Operations and choose Block user or role.
  2. Select the target type. Paste a user ID or select a role from the server.
  3. Add an optional reason so other dashboard administrators understand why access was blocked.
  4. Optionally enable Temporary blacklist and choose an expiration date and time.
  5. Choose Block target. The restriction applies to new ticket attempts immediately.

Temporary entries

A temporary entry stops applying after its expiration. Expired entries are removed automatically when the blacklist is read again, so they do not remain as active restrictions.

Finding and Removing Entries

Search the list by username, role name, Discord ID, target type, or reason. Each card shows who created the entry, whether it is permanent, and its expiration when applicable. Removing an entry restores ticket creation immediately unless another user or role entry still matches the member.

Discord Command

Dashboard administrators can also use /blacklist @user|@role in Discord to add or remove a user or role. Changes made from the dashboard are recorded in the Audit Log; changes made with the Discord command are not currently included there.

Blacklist vs. Panel Access Control

The Blacklist is server-wide and applies before any ticket can open. Panel Access Control is configured per panel and decides who may use that specific entry point. Use the Blacklist for global restrictions and panel rules for workflow-specific allow or deny lists.
