3.1.5. Staff Dashboard Access

By default the dashboard is admin-only — only users in your DashboardAdmin list (added via the bot's /admin addadmin command) can open it. Staff Dashboard Access is an opt-in setting that lets your support staff into the dashboard to work tickets, without giving them control over your server's configuration.

Enabling It

Go to Settings → Tickets and turn on “Allow support staff dashboard access”. It is off by default. Once enabled, members who hold a role in any of your Support Teams can open the dashboard for that server.

Tip: Staff access is driven entirely by your Support Teams. There is no separate list to maintain — anyone with a support-team role is granted staff access automatically while the setting is on, and loses it the moment the setting is turned off or their role is removed.

What Staff Can Do

Staff are restricted to the Tickets tab only. From there they can:

  • View open and claimed tickets and read their messages
  • Claim, unclaim and close tickets
  • Send messages into a ticket from the dashboard
  • Open the Message settings modal to configure claim / unclaim / dashboard messages

What Staff Cannot Do

Everything outside the Tickets tab stays hidden in the sidebar and is blocked at the route level — if a staff member tries to open one directly they are redirected back to Tickets. Staff have no access to:

  • Settings
  • Panels and Multi-Panels
  • Staff Teams
  • Analytics
  • Tags, Modals, Blacklist, Transcripts and every other admin-only area

Note: Staff access is per-server. A member only gets staff access on servers where the setting is enabled and they hold a Support Team role. Turning the setting off instantly revokes dashboard access for all staff on that server — admins are unaffected.
